What is a Giclée Print?
Giclée (pronounced zhee-clay) is the French term for a fine art print made using archival pigment inks on museum-quality cotton rag paper. Unlike standard prints, giclée prints are produced one at a time using high-resolution inkjet technology that captures far greater color depth, subtlety, and detail ~ true to every brushstroke and glaze in the original painting.
My giclée prints are made on cotton rag art paper from @ImageinColor, chosen for its soft, textured surface and archival quality (rated to last 100+ years without fading). Each print is produced locally here in New Mexico and hand-signed by me.
Because giclée printing is a slower, more meticulous process than standard printing, every print carries the same richness of color and depth as the original piece ~ a true reflection of the art, made to be lived with for generations.
